Allbase Suite » Walkthrough » 2. Logging In and Getting Around

Logging In

Logging In The entire Allbase Suite is web-based, so all that you'll need to access the system is a modern web browser.

When you purchase the Allbase Suite, your system will get its own secure address, such as https://allbase.yourdomain.com. This is where your staff will go to access your installation.

The system will be customized to match the colors, logo, and layout of your company's branding. Throughout this walkthrough, we will be viewing the Allbase Suite for "ABC, Incorporated", an IT service provider.

Home Page

Home Page Upon logging into Allbase, each of your employees is greeted with his or her home page. Home pages act like "dashboards", displaying relevant information tailored to each employee.

For example, your accounting manager will see a summary of open and pending invoices, your field engineers will find a summary of open tickets to resolve, and your salespeople will see a summary of pending prospects. The Allbase Suite is designed to help each employee do his or her job while bringing everybody together.

Getting Around

The entire Allbase Suite uses a consistent user interface that makes learning and mastering the system a breeze. All modules and tasks are easily accessible within one click from the menu.

Additionally, everything in the Allbase Suite can also be reached through keyboard shortcuts. For instance, typing "BI" allows you to jump to "Browse Invoices" from anywhere. Similarly, typing "SC" allows for searching clients from any page.

Another useful feature is the tabbed navigation used throughout the Allbase Suite. Whenever you work with an item (such as a client, vendor, or sales order) your data is conveniently organized using a series of tabs.
