Allbase Suite » Feature Set » Permissions

The Allbase Suite provides a robust multiple-level permission system. Permissions can be set on a per-user or a per-group basis. Users in Allbase can belong to one or multiple groups. For instance, "Bill Smith" can belong to the groups "Office Staff," "Engineers," and even "Everybody," a group that can be used as default permissions for all users.

Allbase employs the Least User Access (LUA) model for permissions. What this means is that employees are granted the minimum number of permissions necessary to use the system. This helps prevent accidental (or malicious) damage to data in the system, and to restrict access to portions of the system not necessary for certain employees.
