News: Allbase Blog launches

We are very pleased to announce the launch of the Allbase Blog!

This new feature of our website provides an inside look at Allbase's services, clients, and unique culture. Topics will range from doing business in the SaaS world to getting the most out of the Allbase Suite.

Please check out our inaugural article, Green ERP: Steps toward a paperless business. You may also subscribe to the Allbase Blog using our RSS feed and view it in your favorite reader.

Spotlight On: Customizing the Allbase Suite

In addition to being one of the most powerful ERP and CRM solutions available, the Allbase Suite is also extremely flexible. The entire system's look and feel can be customized to match your corporate branding and needs.

The Allbase Suite's appearance can be changed globally using the built-in skin editor. This tool gives you access to dozens of beautiful pre-built themes and provides the ability to tweak every last color and picture.

All verbiage in the Allbase Suite is customizable, allowing for the most complete personalization possible. For instance, if your company would rather say "proposals" instead of "quotes", or "customers" instead of "clients", simply change the verbiage settings and it will take effect system-wide.

Custom fields can be added to any module, allowing your business to track everything pertinent to the task. Custom field types include text, number, date, list, and more. There is no limit to the number of custom fields available.

While the Allbase Suite already features over a hundred detailed reports, the built-in report editor enables you to modify the existing ones or even make your own.

Scripting and triggers enable you to write business rules that happen automatically, either based on a schedule or upon being triggered by certain events (such as creates, edits, or deletes). This powerful API, along with the SOAP data interface, allow you to manipulate your data any way you like.

When facing the most demanding of requirements, templates allow you to change or even replace entire modules. Templates can be used to change how your employees and clients interact with data, including custom layout, fields, and validation.

For everything else, customization and consulting are always available.
