Security and Backups

At Allbase, your security is our top concern. All of our products and services are protected using industry-standard technologies and best practices.

The Allbase Suite utilizes 128-bit high-grade SSL encryption to secure all traffic. This means that all data sent between our servers and your computer is protected from prying eyes. On our servers, data is further secured with state-of-the-art 1024-bit RSA encryption. Vital data, such as credit card numbers and Social Security Numbers, cannot be accessed without a valid username and password in the system.

In addition to encryption, user data is also protected by multiple layers of backups. The Allbase Suite backs up nightly to a series of encrypted tape backups. Backup tapes are stored both locally and off-site for greater protection from disaster.

In addition to tape backups, every Allbase Suite installation has a mirrored copy running on a parallel server. Data is continuously backed up between primary and secondary servers, allowing our engineers to quickly and easily failover if needed.

Other Allbase, Inc. products, such as Allbase Backup, also utilize 128-bit encryption for all data transfer. Additionally, the Allbase Backup offers 4096-bit RSA encryption and compression for all backed-up files.
